Summary A Source+ teller assists customers by being the Source+ of answering to their questions! Assisting by giving information about products and experiences by using products in our store. Accurately ringing up customers, providing promo education and ensuring the customer has the best experience possible while building positive customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists with leading and managing the Teller Team
  • Responsible for ensuring that customer orders are verified before processing transaction
  • Responsible for ensuring that customer ID and medical card (if applicable) is verified before completing transaction
  • Responsible for overseeing cash handling processes, including registers, deposits, and change
  • Responsible for POS overrides and exceptions
  • Responsible for maintaining safe, clean, and sanitized Teller areas
  • Responsible for maintaining Teller supplies and communicating supply needs to Store Management
  • Responsible for ensuring all Teller and Runner equipment is operational and accounted for
  • Responsible for returns and exchanges
  • Responsible for opening and closing the dispensary
  • Responsible for coordinating with appropriate department personnel to resolve questions and/or issues
  • Responsible for providing administrative assistance as needed
  • Responsible for direction and delegation of tasks, as appropriate, to Teller Team

Supervisory Responsibility

  • Assist with oversight of the Teller Team

Work Environment

  • Retail Dispensary Store

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift as much as 50 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to carry, bend, stand, file documents, lift, and push/pull as needed
  • Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends

Required Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Associates Degree or equivalent
  • 1-2 years as an individual contributor in a retail environment.
  • Must be over the age of 21
  • Possess (or be able to obtain) and maintain an active agent card
  • Ability to complete and maintain ongoing education and professional development as needed
  • Commitment to adhere to all State and local medical and recreational cannabis regulations, statutes, laws, and guidance
  • Commitment to adhere to the SOP's of the Company
  • Ability to handle high stress situations and busy atmosphere
  • Superior customer service skills and phone etiquette
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude that promotes team work and problem solving

Preferred Qualifications

  • OSHA 10 / OSHA 30 Certified
  • Cannabis industry experience (retail preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 1-3 years equivalent job experience
